Grupo a was established in 1932 by two Lebanese brothers who chose Colombia as their new homeland.

At present, with a workforce of aproximately 5000 people in Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Venezuela, the company is engaged in the manufacture of auto parts and mining machinery, as well as offering technical services, urban development, and various commercial ventures.
